Red is a colour that has the potential to go awfully wrong. It must be applied with caution, restraint and perhaps left in the hands of the sublimely talented, like Mary McDonald for example. These two rooms below are a couple that have remained a constant go to for inspiration. Both for very different reasons, but both by Mary McDonald and both a fine example how red has the ability to look both glamorous and regal or relaxed and cosy.
