I love this Image from Elle decor  pink lampshades , ginger jars and the stripy bow on the magnolia leaf wreath looks all so great its a Christmas feast for the eye. Below is my wreath at home accompanied by some Portobello foo dogs

Pot of peonies

Its peony season at the moment and my girlfriend bought a  bunch and popped them into one of our ginger jars they just looked so lovely on her kitchen table

After a hectic week moving warehouses and setting up a new office and trade showroom the walls at home feel like they are caving in  with washing and general mess and chaos .These rooms featured in Elle Decor look so calm with there blue and green colour palates  Thank god its the  weekend.

A good dresser

I have always loved a good old kitchen dresser and I was very happy to receive these pictures of my nieces collection of beautiful things   she is a girl after my own heart the kitchen dresser below from our previous home was featured on the cover of country style magazine and although I don't have one in my current home I would love to have a space for one or even just some open shelving in the future

Cup day

I took this photo on the beach this morning out the front of our house every morning the horses are brought down to exercise its lovely in the mornings to lie in bed and hear them galloping on the sand 

I thought it was a fitting post for cup day happy punting

Its always fun unpacking new stock and this lot made me very happy pariculary the new pieces in the celadon green and we also received some beautiful new leather furniture which comes in an      excepitional vintage tan colour that I adore

MAMA San

While in Bali we had lunch at mama san in Seminyak the food and drinks were delicious my son William thoroughly enjoying a very interesting looking toy story drink. I  absolutely loved the fit out of the restaurant and bar but especially there use of the classic leather Chesterfield sofa which we carry in our portobello home range see them at www.portobellohome.com.au

I have returned  from Bali not looking quite like Tori Birch but feeling very refreshed after what seems        now just like a lovely  dream.

 After two trade fairs and colds and Flu's (or as my two year  daughter old calls it the coughs and bless yous ) running rampant through the whole family we are heading to Bali for a couple of weeks  hoping to return feeling as fresh as Tory Burch looks.

I use my timber tray all the time particularly to hold various flowers and candles on my table its from the Portobello home range and available through some of our stockists contact me for info .

I am lucky enough to be adorning my sister and nieces stand at the Melbourne gift fair in the  show grounds with some of my blue and white ceramics .The beautiful jewellery by fuzen is in such gorgeous colours I feel the need to get out of my winter grey and black wardrobe put on some bright lippy and maybe get a bit of fake tan going . www.fuzenglass.com

A quick foot note to my last blog post this beautiful notebook was given to me by the lovely people from www.hxgart.com exhibiting across from me at the trade fair the front cover is hand painted with my favourite coloured flowers this little note book  really makes a gorgeous gift
